Dr. Heather Champion is no stranger to the aches and injuries associated with an active lifestyle…and the setbacks which can result from those injuries. Her goal is to make sure each patient feels cared for on an individual basis from initial evaluation through completion of care. She approaches treatment with an evidence-based mindset and enjoys staying up-to-date on research. Dr. Heather graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelors in science and biotechnology. She took a break from seasonal cold weather to attend National University of Health Sciences in Saint Petersburg, Florida where she earned her doctorate of chiropractic. She went on to complete certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician as well as certification in Neuromuscular Dry Needling. After many years in St Pete, Dr. Heather and her family moved north to Tennessee where she operated her own successful practice taking care of families and athletes in the greater Nashville area. But after 5 years they decided once again to trade the seasonal cold for sunny Florida. Dr. Heather has enjoyed serving in several roles with the the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). Her involvement with ACA has involved travel to Washington D.C., where she lobbied on Capitol Hill for improved access to chiropractic care for veterans and their families. This opportunity held a special place in her heart as she is married to a Marine. 

Dr. Champion has many titles, but her favorite is mom! In her spare time, Dr. Champion enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter kayaking, working out, or soaking up the sun on the beach!
